NEW ACCOUNTING PRONOUNCEMENTS |
NEW ACCOUNTING PRONOUNCEMENTS
In May 2014, the FASB issued guidance on Revenue from Contracts with Customers, to clarify the principles used to recognize revenue for all entities. The guidance is effective for annual and interim periods beginning after December 15, 2016. Early adoption is not permitted. The Company will evaluate the effects, if any, adoption of this guidance will have on the Company’s consolidated financial statements.
In April 2014, the FASB issued guidance on Reporting Discontinued Operations and Disposals of Components of an Entity, which changes the criteria for determining which disposals can be presented as discontinued operations and modifies related disclosure requirements. The guidance is effective for annual and interim periods beginning after December 15, 2014, with early adoption permitted. The Company does not expect adoption of this guidance to have a material impact on the Company’s consolidated financial statements.
